Wife and Working Partner, Yang Chiah Ming, Fellow Chartered Accountant, Singapore. Graduated from then University of Singapore, Bachelor of Accountancy, 1978. Joined as audit assistant in a mid-tier accounting firm which provides experience small medium practices. From 1978 - 1984, joined as Graduate Trainee in one of the "Big 8"  and performed audit of various industries. Seconded to its London office in 1980 - 1982 and trained in computer audit. Overseen Computer Audit Department and provided training in-house and to clients. Started sole-proprietorship from scratch in 1984. Focus on small and medium enterprises. Built staff strength from 1 to 50. Acquired Y C Lee & Co in 1990. Developed expertise in audit, taxation, corporate secretarial and accounting. Converted P G Wee & Partners to LLP in 2013 and admitted new partner. Developed and implemented SSQC. Building skills in new business areas for small medium enterprises in Income Tax and GST Advisory and Grants and Incentives. Set up Accredited Training Organization structure.

Experienced both small medium and large practices. Developed knowledge and skills peculiar to small medium enterprises. Skill sets provided sufficient knowledge in accounting standards, taxation and company law. Experienced staff training and development in both small and large environment. Handled non-profit organisation audits. Involved in audits of subsidiaries of listed companies overseas. Knowledgeable about corporate governance required of listed companies.

C M Yeng, Founder Partner

C M Yang also graduated in 1978 from the University of Singapore. Both P G Wee and C M Yang are husband and wife in a team. She has vast operational experience in financial management, accountancy and corporate secretarial functions as a financial director of a medium size group of companies of developers and management of rental of properties. 

She joined P G Wee in 1990 as partner of Y C Lee & Co and sole proprietor of C M Yeng & Associates. Similarly, like P G Wee, she has enriched her understanding of the small and medium enterprises in the areas of taxation, accounting and legal issues. She is now a Fellow Chartered Accountant of Singapore, Accredited member of the Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals (Income Tax and GST) and an Approved Liquidator. She is also a Qualified Individual of an accredited Filing Agent with ACRA.

Cyndi Chiam, Partner

Background and Achievements - Joined P G Wee & Partners in 1995 as an Audit Assistant. Left in 2000 to join a mid-tier accounting firm as a Team Leader. During employment in the mid-tier accounting firm, responsible for a portfolio of listed and privately owned clients, including solicitors, management corporations, non- profit organisations and associations. Also involved in due diligence and reporting accountant assignments in respect of initial public offering on the Singapore Stock Exchange. In 2002, returned to P G Wee & Partners and joined as Audit Manager. Admitted as an Audit Partner in P G Wee Partnership LLP in 2013. Apart from audit partner sign-off responsibilities for a diverse portfolio of small medium enterprises, also involved in the planning and assignment of audit. Involved in the recruitment of staff taking into consideration their competencies and capabilities.

Wesley Chang, Manager, Audit and Assurance

Joined as Audit Assistant in 2008 upon attaining a Degree for the Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) Accounting . Promoted to Assistant Manager in 2014.

9 years of working experience focusing on assurance services in small and medium size enterprises.

Exposure covers a wide range of industries which include solicitors, trading, retail, manufacturing, constructions, associations and other specialist organizations such as non-profit making organizations and societies in accordance with the Auditing and Accounting Practices. Also involved in auditing large and medium size enterprises in China and subsidiaries of MNCs.

Oh Chen Chen, Manager, Audit and Assurance

Chen Chen joined us since 2001. She is a Chartered Accountant with ACCA qualification. She was promoted to Manager in 2009. Over the years with us, she was exposed to SME audits and experience in a wide spectrum of SME industry sectors.

Her portfolio of local clients includes retailing, servicing, trading, construction, MCST and charities. Her technical knowledge of Singapore FRSs and Singapore Standards of Auditing amassed over the years help us meet the required standards. She is also tasked with the Quality Control function in line with the introduction of the SSQC.

Elvia Lee, Manager, Audit and Assurance

Elvia joined us in 2013 and was promoted to Manager in 2021.

She obtained her Master of Science in Professional Accountancy with Merit in 2018. She qualified as Chartered Accountant of Singapore in 2016. In 2012, she obtained Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Applied Accounting.

Elvia’s portfolio include food and beverages, construction, electronics, cooperatives, charities, etc.

Her experience accumulated over these years has enabled her to excel in the areas of accounting and auditing standards.
